Profile: Sinuous

You can call me… Sinuous

I identify as… Fluidly genderqueer. There’s no rhyme or reason to the moments when I feel any set shade of gender.

As far as third-person pronouns go, … I use her/she in real life, because people look at my body and can’t imagine anything else. Online, I’ll take any pronoun that people want to throw my way. They all feel right sometimes.

I’m attracted to… Androgyny and people who aren’t classically attractive. An interesting face tells so many more stories than any stone chiseled model ever could.

When people talk about me, I want them to… Realize that just because genetics dealt me extremely emphasized curves, that doesn’t mean that my brain is extremely feminine. There’s a lot more to who I am than my hips and breasts.

I want people to understand… That gender isn’t something I play around with for fun or to rebel. It’s just me trying to best figure out who I am and where I’m going.

Great name! And I like the idea that faces tell stories. I usually just see them as moments in time –the moment our paths happen to cross–, but stories are much richer.
