Profile: Sylvia

You can call me… Sylvia, Sylvie

I identify as… Mostly female. I’m entirely comfortable with the fact that I have a womb and a vagina and breasts and all that, I am woman, I am fully comfortable with my body, in my skin.. but somehow sometimes I wake up wishing so hard that I was a boy, and it makes me feel really weird and dislike my feminine appearance intensely.

As far as third-person pronouns go, … I’ve heard about ze and hir and such, which I think look and sound pretty cool as words and offer a genuine linguistic alternative, that reflects the alternative-offering nature of gender-fluidity. I’m comfortable with being she though.

I’m attracted to… Flirtation, an ability to accept the strange, minds that are similar to mine, laughter, imagination. I like being able to find something beautiful about everyone. Unusual looking faces, skinny male torsos, long arms, deep dark eyes.. any gender, anything. Humanity.

When people talk about me, I want them to… Not assume.

I want people to understand… To me, gender is completely irrelevant; it doesn’t matter if you’re a boy or a girl at all.

About Sylvia
I live in Brighton, UK, favourite seaside resort of the camper-than-Christmas Regency royalty. A very open-minded place with a long history of all forms of sexual deviance and decadence. I write, occasionally draw, and always live.
