It’s great that people accepted him as a drag king even when they realized he was a (their term) “bio male”! Even though I never did drag, it used to sadden me when I thought that transitioning erased the possibility of kinging. Not anymore! I’d like to do both types of drag someday.

I agree with genderkid: awesome that they accepted him as a dragking, and I hope to one day join a crowd like that as a post-transition FTM dragking. Diversity is a beautiful thing.

Also, he overdid his look with the very fake lookiong facial hair. I think that gave him away.

Nick – I agree. I also like the idea that when people do a drag king performance, they can do a flamey king. A couple of my grrlfriends do drag and they are so campy and I usually end up enjoying those performances more than your token ubermasculine strut back and forth across the stage bits. I could totally have seen Himcules working that side of the king spectrum and doing as well or better than trying to be something that seemed a bit awkward to him. At the same time, awkward adventures into new-to-this-land are not always a bad thing either.
