Profile: Rina

A person wearing a hoodie and smiling at the camera.

You can call me… Rina, Keena, Carina… even ‘hey you!’ if you’d like.

I identify as… a nerdy girl who is often mistaken for a young boy and quite enjoys being called ‘young man’.

As far as third-person pronouns go, … I normally get female ones from people who actually realize that yes, those are boobs sticking out from my chest.

I’m attracted to… People who are easy-going, and things generally on the feminine side of the gender spectrum. But if you’re a nerdy boy, I will probably find you quite handsome.

When people talk about me, I want them to… be their own goofy selves.

I want people to understand… that it’s okay to be mistaken for the other gender, and not to be embarrassed if you call me a young man. Just because my parents like to correct you doesn’t mean that I’m offended.

About Rina
I’m fourteen years old and starting tenth grade. I’m saving up to go to art school when the time comes… in the meantime, I’ll just stick to playing Pokemon.

I don’t care if the other comments are about the Pokemon quip, mine is too! D=

*insert random comment about how awesome Pokemon is and how people who play it are also awesome for defying the whole unfortunate ‘Pokemon is for kiddies’ categorization nowadays*
