    Hi Genderfork,

I’m an ESL teacher at TCC, working on a new curriculum for WA. One of the lessons I’m writing is about teamwork, and I have a piece that tries to orient learners to the US culture of freedom and individual expression. One piece of this lesson is a slideshow of all kinds of people, and I want to include different gender identities. The learners have very little English, so everything depends on good visuals. This is a great picture!

Our grant requires all our material be open source or used with clear permission. Please let me know if we may use this image.

    Thank you,

    Lee Sledd

    Hi Lee!

I’d second what Kat says below about contacting the owner of the photo directly.

    Best,

    Erica

    Hello Lee,

That sounds like a wonderful lesson! I don’t think that the Genderfork Team has any problem with you using this photo for your project, but the image really belongs to blldagger, whose flickr account is linked in the description.

    Hope that helps,
    Kat (Photos Curator)
