    This is really cool! Anybody know where I can get more information on this kind of thing? Was it just Navajo or did other tribes have similar traditions?

    this documentary is really good. i was worried about the language when i first started watching it, but i had nothing to worry about. it will make you cry, however.

    I actually own this movie and got to attend a lecture given by Dr. LaFortune from it :) it was AMAZING!!!! There is a lot of great points they bring out in it. One of the most important things I learned from it was about domestic violence and two-spirited folks. I never would have thought of that and was surprised to find some great research about it! makes me happy to see there is some good people still out there :)
