I understand completely your feelings. I would like to offer some advice based solely out of health concerns – I can suggest using anything but an ace bandage and the like. It can lead to compression of the chest causing issues breathing and with heart rate and sometimes fracturing ribs.
There are alternatives: You can get some control top underwear and cut the crotch out kind of like a tank top – this actually works really well especially if you put a tanktop/undershirt on under your shirt. OR You can cut the crotch out of some tights and use that this doesn’t work as well as the underwear but they both do give a bit of flatness.
I just would hate to see someone hurt due to a lack of information.
You’re doing great. Stay healthy.
