Bigger tips.

Someone wrote…

I give bigger tips to people who gender me correctly. Then I feel guilty because others had no way of knowing.

What’s your experience?

And what are you thinking about gender right now?

I was at restaurant in Boise in boy-mode with a female friend some years back. I did, at the time, have hair down to my waist. The waitress approached our table from behind me and said “What can I get you two ladies?”. When she saw I was obviously NOT a woman, she practically stumbles over herself turning beet red apologizing profusely. I just said to forget about it and it was no big deal. We got excellent service during that meal. My coffee cup was never less than 1/2 empty, and I gave her a big fat tip.

My lady friend I was with knew I was TG and thought the entire thing was hilarious. The previous night I had been trying on some of her gorgeous ball gowns.

At the local LGBT club I frequent, we are always addressed as female and I love that.
