Top of the drawer.

“Describe an outfit you’ve worn that expressed the complexity of your gender.”

Someone wrote…

I rarely spend more than five minutes throwing myself together in the morning so I put on whatever is on top in the drawer. What results is unpredictable couplings of men’s and women’s pants and shirts. Sometimes people comment on the seeming confusion and usually I look down and pretend I don’t know what they’re talking about. Oh and I usually wear pretty girly panties with boxers over them. It makes me feel sexy in two different ways!

What’s your experience?

And what are you thinking about gender right now?
