In peace.

Someone wrote…

I don’t care what gender I am, I just want to pee in peace.

What’s your experience?

And what are you thinking about gender right now?

I’m genderqueer and no one has ever said anything about which restroom I use. Maybe I’m naive but I doubt many people really care who uses what restroom.

re: Anon – I guess you’ve picked good restrooms. I’ve been called out in women’s restrooms for not looking feminine enough. I’ve had girls snicker about not “being able to tell” and wonder if they should tell someone. And it was like, really? I’m just here to take a piss. O_o;; I’ve never been called out in the men’s room, but I have overheard a few “oh, the ladies room must be overrun again” comments. -shrug-

@Adisson – I don’t look extremely feminine but I guess with my stature (5’1″) and the length of hair that I have that I pass for either. The only comment I ever heard which was years ago at the movie theatre was “there’s a girl in here” when I had gone into the male restroom. Mind you when I was at the theatre it didn’t look like I had boobs. I live in the Midwest.
