Thrilled.

Someone wrote…

One of my teachers expressed personal gender ambiguity the other day in class. All of the other students were either shocked or confused, but I just felt thrilled – finally, someone else!

What’s your experience?

And what are you thinking about gender right now?

What level of school? High school, college, grad school? Awesome, anyway.

That would be so neat! I have yet to meet a gender-ambiguous role model, or anyone older than me I suppose. Very cool.

Feels good to know you’re not alone, doesn’t it?

My computer science teacher is extremely androgynous and goes by “her” last name rather than “her” first name. (“She” does go by female pronouns, but I wonder if this is necessarily by choice.)
