A Long Time Waiting

Petrified and ecstatic all at the same time! Yesterday I made an appointment for a breast augmentation consultation. This is something I have wanted for almost 30 years, yet I am scared to death to finally be complete.

    Yes!!! I’m very happy for you, and I understand a bit too :-)

    In a few months I plan to be undergoing hormone therapy, a dozen years after my first brief experiment in self-medication; I’ve wanted them again ever since to counteract my poisonous androgens.

    Yes, I know what you mean… but I wonder if you know what you mean. We mean so many things. Is this just an expression of what we want or is it who we are, or perhaps what we want to be?
