Profile: Ronen

You can call me… Ronen.

I identify as… A male-identified androgyne. A drag prince, a faerie. Legally female. No-hormones, no-operations, no-way.

As far as third-person pronouns go, … I’m currently experimenting with “he/him/his.” Ask me again tomorrow.

I’m attracted to… first and foremost my fantastic fiancé, but also: Princes like myself, whatever their bits happen to be. People who possess a delicate beauty, either in looks or personality. Silly folk.

When people talk about me, I want them to… consider who I am beyond the confines of my physical body and/or legal status.

I want people to understand… that there’s a divide between being transgender and transsexual. That a person can be one without necessarily being the other.

About Ronen.
I’m an actor, musician, drag performer and burner based in Chicago. I blog about my gendersperiences at ( http://mercurys-moon.dreamwidth.org/ ).

I’m struggling so much right now to be male-identified and no-hormones, no-op. Seeing this profile really helps.

Totally dig your style and self confidence. You pretty much rock my socks.

Holy cow! I submitted this ages ago – didn’t expect to see it posted!

I’ve more or less abandoned the blog I list there; if anyone’s interested, I’m now over at WordPress, at http://iamthemotley.wordpress.com .
