Sometimes I catch my reflection in the mirror – when my guard is down- and find myself genuinely surprised to see a woman. In my soul I am a man.

    I truly understand. My assigned at birth body throws me off post shower/other situations where I see my nude body. Periods are also surprising still.

    Same experience. On the good days it isn’t too jarring. On the bad days, well–I have a scarf assigned for draping over every mirror in my home.
