Personfriend

Someone wrote…

Being genderqueer and dating someone who’s genderfluid, both of us very obviously female physically, I’ve sort of fallen in love with the word “personfriend”.

What’s your experience?

And what are you thinking about gender right now?

I love it! I might steal it, actually. I tend to use “mate” for my relationship. :3 We’re both furries, and it’s kind of the standard furry term for husband/wife/boyfriend/girlfriend/fiancee, but I love it in normal contexts, too, since it’s just so gosh darn gender neutral.
