Gives Me Hope

Someone wrote…

I’m a male-to-female transsexual girl going through transition at the moment.

I often feel that I look too much like a boy, which depresses me.

One day in line for the register, while dressed very boyishly, an older man with a full cart turned to me.

He asked; “Would you like to go ahead of me, young lady?”

You GMH, kind sir.

Thank you so much!

Shared from LGBTQ* gives me hope.

What’s your experience?

And what are you thinking about gender right now?

Those are the best days, when you feel like you don’t pass AT ALL and then a random stranger sees you as you wish to be seen!! Glad you had a good day :)

Hell, I’d love to be able to pull that off. I am gender-fluid myself, and love wearing dresses, but I look too much like a guy when I’m feeling like a girl. A friend of mine says that I just need a makeover, but I just don’t think it’s possible with my body, and I enjoy having muscles on my arms. Of course, this point is moot because I’ve yet to come out to family, so I can’t go parading around the house in a dress.
