To be seen

Someone wrote…

I don’t want to modify my body or bind my breast, but I sometimes feel like that’s the only way people would understand how I want to be seen.

What’s your experience?

And what are you thinking about gender right now?

I totally understand. I used to bind and wear drag king make-up. After some years, I noticed I did it because I wanted to be accepted as a boy. I still want to be seen as a man, but I don’t bind anymore, because I also want to do with my body what I want. It is hard. I keep on telling my environment that I am a trans boy, and I hope that soon everyone will see and accept it.

I feel like this too. I’m not sure whether to try binding or not because I’ve heard it can be dangerous but I want people to realise who i am.
